CLUB WINO
Club Wino is an up and coming local food and Colorado wine review, below is an event that took place in January 2012. "We didn’t want Club Wino getting stale, so when the calendar flipped to 2012, we decided to branch out into the culinary community. We teamed with Jeff Bauman of The Pig & Block Charcuterie to host a pop-up style dinner right in the middle of the butcher shop. Themed “Getting Piggy with It,” it was a four-course exploration of the entire pig. It turned out even better than it sounded on paper.

We turned to the Rhone Ranger, Turquoise winemaker Tom Bueb, for the pairing on this course. The blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault had just the right body for the unique texture and flavors that come in blood sausage. The fruity chutney on the side offered a tasty contrast to both the wine and the sausage.
